How I became the therapist and mentor that I am today:
Like you, I am a highly sensitive and creative person who feels deeply and senses the energy of those around me. For much of my life, I tried to ignore or shut off these parts of myself. I was diagnosed with ADHD in graduate school, and it wasn’t until I began to truly embrace my neurodivergence and sensitivity that my life became more joyful and aligned.
When I discovered Human Design, EVERYTHING clicked into place.
It was like finally getting the user manual for myself, helping me understand why I am the way I am and how to lean into my intuition more deeply than ever before. This process has not only improved my own life—enhancing my relationships and helping me feel more in flow with my purpose—but it has also deepened my ability to guide others.
I am PASSIONATE about helping you see your own sensitivity and creativity as a SUPERPOWER.
My PURPOSE is to create a safe space where you can heal from past trauma, challenge old beliefs that no longer serve you, and learn to trust your own wisdom. I believe that each of us is CAPABLE of incredible things, and I am here to walk ALONGSIDE you as you step into a life that is truly YOURS.
Throughout my life, my passion and work have always centered around caring for and working with people. I LOVE people and believe that we are all capable of such great things, individually and collectively. I hold onto a deep HOPE that we, as a collective, are destined for greater alignment, more purpose, and more care toward one another. I am FASCINATED by the intersections of therapeutic work, energetics, social justice, human behavior, nature, and human design.
My commitment to this work goes beyond my practice—I do my own therapeutic work and believe that a therapist should always be doing the work alongside their clients. When I’m not in session, you can find me traveling, solving puzzles, and spending time with my friends, family, and my two dogs Shadow and Kingston.
Education and Training
I started out my college education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with specializations in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Substance Abuse Counseling. During my Master’s education program I completed several hands on internships where I gained experience working with sexual trauma, eating disorders, and gambling addiction. I obtained my Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and Addictions at Lewis and Clark College, which is a CACREP (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs) accredited program. I have worked in various settings in mental health and addictions counseling such as residential mental health, PHP, IOP, community mental health, a group practice, and now my own private practice.
I received a Certification in Eating Disorder Treatment from Lewis and Clark College and I am trained in EMDR therapy from EMDRIA. I completed the Dayluna Human Design reader training in April 2023 and I have continued to study Human Design to learn more about its effectiveness and benefits in the mental health space.
I am licensed in both Washington and Oregon.
